The Records on Tour

‘The Records on Tour’ is a collaboration between the VNJJ (Association of Dutch Jazz podia and Jazz Festivals) and the Keep an Eye Foundation. This project builds on the jazz competition The Records. The album release of the three Records winners takes place in the Bimhuis one year after winning the competition and also forms the starting point for ‘The Records on Tour’. The Records on Tour offers these three emerging jazz artists a tour supported by Dutch jazz venues and festivals. In addition, they receive a coaching program that is tailored to their artistic and business needs.

The focus of jazz concours The Records is on young artists who look ahead and make music in the here and now. Musicians with a stubborn view of what jazz is and with the unquenchable urge to get on stage and share their music.
